All Things Mythology

I am a huge mythology fan. I love Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Norse, etc. You could say I am obsessed it. As you have probably figured out, I am also obsessed with Rick Riordan's books. I have read so many of his books. I have actually read all of them.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians

This is where it all began. A young kid, named Percy, feels like the world hates him. He bounced around from school to school, had gotten into trouble, and he was not the smartest kid in school. He finds out he is a demigod. He just happens to be the son of Poseidon. He finds out he has a special ability, and goes to a camp full of other demigods. He goes through a lot of trials and tribulations, and makes a lot of friends along the way.

The Lightning Thief

The Sea of Monsters

The Titan's Curse

The Battle of the Labyrinth

The Last Olympian

Then the series continues when Rick Riordan combines Greek and Roman mythology.

Heroes of Olympus

Percy loses his memory, and finds himself in the Roman demigod camp. You will meet some awesome characters throughout these books.

The Lost Hero

The Son of Neptune

The Mark of Athena

The House of Hades

The Blood of Olympus

Then we have the Egyptian mythology books. The Kane Chronicles. Rick Riordan makes mythology so much fun to read about.

The Red Pyramid

The Throne of Fire

The Serpent's Shadow

Then we move onto Norse Mythology.

Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard: The Sword of Summer

Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard: The Hammer of Thor

For those who miss Percy, he shows up in The Trials of Apollo.

The Trials of Apollo: The Hidden Oracle

Zeus is angry with Apollo so he sends him to Earth without his godly powers. Apollo must get back in the good graces of Zeus by doing what is asked of him. Poor Apollo, he went from a good looking God into a zit faced teenager. He gets stuck helping a girl that can control trash. He has to find the Hidden Oracle in order to go back to Olympus.

I have yet to read the second book, but I will very soon.

The Trials of Apollo: The Dark Prophecy

If you love mythology I highly suggest you read these books. You will fall more in love with all things mythology. Rick Riordan is a genius!
